Lot 436: the Cleaboy Stud and Coppice Farm-consigned son of Santiago makes €42,000, bought by Creighton / Schwartz.

The colt is out of the Ballungarry mare Tornada, a Listed winner over hurdle at Auteuil and the dam of two winners, including Martator, a Listed winner and twice Grade 1 placed in France in the Prix Alain du Breil Hurdle.

Trained by Venetia Williams, the son of Martaline recently won the Grade 3 Byrne Group Chase at Ascot. (10:33)

Lot 448: the colt by Blue Bresil is bought by Paul Cashman of Rathbarry Stud for €50,000. He was sold by Ballinvarrig Stud

"He is a good colt from a good farm, and David Brown has been a good customer to us," said Cashman. "The colt has a good step, is very correct, and his brother looks like he could be a good horse.

"He is also out of a Flemensfirth mare, who is a daughter of a good race mare in Greenflag Princess."

The "brother" mentioned by Cashman, the only runner out of the dam so far, is called Fruit De Mer. He won a four-year-old point-to-point on his debut last spring at Ballycrystal for point-to-point trainer Donnchadh Doyle, and is now with Henry De Bromhead.

Of the 19-year-old sire Blue Bresil, Cashman updated: "Blue Bresil is in great form and we are looking forward to a good season on the track with him." (11:07)

Lot 460: this filly by Walk In The Park has enjoyed two close pedigree updates since the catalogue was published – her own-brother Walk On Quest (2019) is a winner over fences for trainer Lucinda Russell, while her own-sister Broomfield Bijou (2018) finished third in the Buck House Novice Chase (G3).

She was bought by Timmy Hillman from Ballincurrig House Stud.

"She will be for resale and is a lovely model," reported Hillman. (11:22)

Lot 463: becomes the most expensive sold at this week's sale so far – the daughter of Poet's Word making €72,000, bought by Kevin Ross Bloodstock.

The team, bidding on the balcony, had to see off Joey Logan, whose first bid was at €60,000 and Anna Ross laughed: "I would have preferred it if we had got her for that!"

She added: "We knew we'd have to go strong, and you have to go for the ones you want, and she is the best foal we have seen here.

"There is quite a good word about the sire, the trainers seem to be liking them. She is very well made, a lovely mover and she has a stunning pedigree – there is black-type in every dam. She has been bought for Chris Jones's Killeen Glebe Farm and will be coming back for resale."

The filly's dam Ballyshannon Rose has her own winning black-type and is a winner of a Grade 2 novices chase at Thurles, and Grade 1 fourth-placed in the Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown. She is a half-sister to Three Stripe Life, a Grade 1 winner of the Mersey Novices Hurdle and three-times Grade 1 placed.

Under the third dam is Hirapour, placed in the Saval Beg (L) on the Flat and a Listed winner over jumps in the US. (11:41)

Lot 474: becomes the seventh lot to sell for over €50,000 this week – this colt purchased by Peter Molony for Rathmore Stud at €52,000.

The colt is a Blue Bresil half-brother to the JP McManus-owned Impervious, winner of the Grade 3 EBF Mares Novices Hurdle at Down Royal and the Liberthine Mares Chase (G2) at Cheltenham, second dam is the highly talented Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed Bilboa, a half-sister to the Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed Makounji.

"He is for a resale, and he has a smashing pedigree, and Impervious is back in training again, we love the sire," said Malony. (12:06)

Lot 478: "Last year I bought his half-sister by Poet's Word for a neighbour and she is a beauty," said Joey Logan, who has reinvested in the family going to €60,000 for the year younger half-brother by Diamond Boy, sold by Boardsmill Stud.

"She is a cracker, a big type, like a gelding. This foal was bred just dow the road, it is a lovely family. The mare is by Kapgarde, which is a positive, too. I did not think that I would have to go so far – all the right men were on him. I saw him outside the ring, and he just jumped straight into his step."

The Kapgarde dam Calie Du Mesnil was Grade 2 placed over hurdles and this is her fourth foal. She is a half-sister to the dam of Gaillard Du Mesnil, a Grade 1 winner over hurdle and fences, placed in both the Irish Grand National and the Aintree Grand National, and third placed in the Cheltenham Festival. Lot 488: Ballymarkham Stud sells its Jukebox Jury colt to Peter Vaughan for €62,000, the May-born foal out of Cool Grove (Presenting) an own-sister to Up For Review, winner of the Dorans Pride Novice Hurdle (G2) and Grade1 placed in the Thyestes Chase.

Under the third dam is Turpin Green, winner of the Mersey Novices Hurdle (G2), Grade 1 runner-up in the Scilly Isle Novices Chase and Grade 1 third in the Gold Cup.

"He is a grand sort," said Vaughan. "He has a smashing pedigree and is by a good sire. He will come back to a premier store sale." (12:47)

Lot 491: "It is our biggest result in the ring," said a smiling Daniel Doran after selling this colt by Jukebox Jury for €62,000 to Richard Frisby. "He is one of the better foals we have bred. We weren't expecting that and it is a huge amount of money for a foal, we are delighted.

"My brother Peter and my cousin JP King are also involved in the mare," added Doran, who is based in County Down and has 11 mares on the farm. "We give her a good covering with Jukebox Jury for two years, we are big fans of the sire and everything has worked out well. She has crossed well with the sire."

Purchaser JJ Frisby said: "The sire is on fire, and he's as good a walking foal as was here all week. He has a good pedigree, but he is an outstanding individual with a big walk."

The mare Corrie Lake (Stowaway) won a bumper and was placed four times over hurdles. Her first foal, a filly, made €32,000 here last year bought by Tom O'Brien, who purchased Lot 321 yesterday – a colt by Diamond Boy from Kilbarry Lodge Stud for €35,000. (12:57)

Lot 509: Gerry Aherne of Coolmore, standing hidden in the gangway, is out-battled at €92,000 for this colt by Walk In The Park with Team Frisby, bidding from the balcony by the stairwell, the successful purchaser, Ballincurrig House Stud the consignor.

The colt is out of the 2008 mare En Vedette, a Listed hurdle winner in France. She is dam of two black-type performers – Sabrina and Lady Adare – and five winners from six runners.

Her three-year-old filly by Walk In The Park made £105,000 earlier this year, while her 2020 gelding by Flemensfirth made €140,000 at the Derby Sale in 2023, bought by Tom Malone and Paul Nicholls.

"He has everything," said JJ Frisby. "It is good price. She is still quite a young mare, and has had some good sale ring results."

It is fifth Frisby foal purchase this week, with three by this sire. (13:29)

Lot 514: Adrian Heskin went to €65,000 for this Mountain View stud-consigned filly by Poet's Word, purchased as a racing prospect.

"I am delighted to secure her for two good friends of mine, Paddy and Scott Bryceland, the owners of Magical Zoe," said Heskin. " She was on our radar for a while and I was down to see her at Louis Kennedy's place, Mountain View, a couple of months ago. She had everything that day, and she progressed very well to the sale.

"The sire is going very well, she has a big walk on her, great trot, a great temperament, it's a good deep pedigree and we are delighted to get her. The owners are from Scotland, and she will head back to my place in Kilworth for the next couple of years and the long term plan is to race her. She is a breeding prospect down the line. Hopefully she will be lucky."

Asked about the Ebor winner Magical Zoe, he added: "She is going good. After her big win at York there are plenty of big sights on the Flat for her. Hopefully this one can emulate what she has done." (13:40)

Lot 542: Oliver Loughlin's Walk In The Park colt out of Hour Before Dawn, a half-sister to the Grade 2 performer Crystal Glory, makes €33,000.

The pedigree has benefited from the most recent update – last weekend King Turgeon, who is out of King's Crystal, a half-sister to Hour Before Dawn, won the Grand Sefton Handicap run over the National fences at Aintree last weekend. (14:36)

Lot 555: another by Harzand catches the eyes of the buyers today – this colt out of Lackaneen Queen (Walk In The Park), a half-sister to Don't Touch It, a Grade 1 Champion Novices Hurdle winner, and to Lackaneen Leader, a Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 placed, is bought by Gerry Hogan for €50,000.

It is the further family of Snow Drop, winner of the Triumph Hurdle (G1), her daughter, the Grade 1 winner Lina Drop, and her grandson Snow Falcon, winner of the Kerry National (G1). Also of the Grade 1 winner L'Ami Serge and The Wicketkeeper.

Hogan has been impressed with Harzand's foals this week and said: "He is throwing a lovely type of foal, they are very athletic." (14:50)

Lot 576: the only colt in this week's sale by the dual purpose sire Golden Horn makes €74,000, the March foal sold by Glen Stables for Kieran and Billy Kenneally, who explained the decision to cover their mare Mill Quest with Golden Horn.

"The mare was barren that year, she is owned in a family syndicate and a brother in the UK came up with the idea so we took the opportunity to send the mare to England to Golden Horn," said the brothers when chatting outside the colt's stable. "We are delighted, he was a lovely type and although we were hopeful, you can never be sure what is going to happen. He has a lovely temperament, great movement, everything you would want in a foal."

It was something of a poignant sale – the colt is out of the Milan mare Mill Quest, and she, like most of the family on the page, was bred by the Kenneally's mother Cathy, who sadly passed away at the end of October

"Mum bought the colt's third dam Solar Jet and was still very much involved in things, she will have been looking down with pride," said the boys.

The colt's two older fillies are in training, and the mare is back in-foal to Vadamos.

The colt was bought by Kevin Ross Bloodstock / Ben Case for Lady Jayne Grosvenor and Ross said: "The sire is doing well, the mare was a tough mare and she won nine times. He was one of our picks, a lovely type, a lovely mover. I think this is the first NH type by the sire we have bought." (16:04)

Lot 603: "She is lovely sort, by a top sire and looks a real racing prospect," said Gerry Hogan after giving €60,000 for the filly out of the six-time winner Penny Jane (King's Theatre) whose headline win came in the Kinsale Chase (G2) for owners Paul and Clare Rooney. She is also an own-sister to Minella Foru, a Grade 3 winner over hurdle and a grade 2 winner over fences.

The filly, a fourth foal out of the mare, was sold by Clonbonny Stud (16:36)

Lot 611: Paul Cashman has hot-footed back from racing over the road at Fairyhouse (Youlita, third placed in the bumper), to buy this colt by Blue Bresil from Hillview Stud, a grandson of the Listed winner and graded placed Baraka Du Berlais.

"This is a fine colt, a good representative of the sire, with some class," said Cashman. "Hillview does a great job with its foals." (16:56)

Lot 627: Kedrah House Stud sells a well-bred Well Chosen colt for €48,000, the March colt a second foal out to Saucy Yeats, a half-sister to the Irish Gold Cup (G1) and Christmas Chase (G1) winner Conflated. He has also finished Grade 1 placed in the Marsh Melling Chase and the Bowl Chase.

Under the second dam, Auntie Mary is dam of the four-year-old point-to-point winner Auntie Lacey, who sells at Cheltenham on Friday (Lot 20). (17:39)

Lot 650: this colt by Telecaster, one of just two colts catalogued this week by the son of New Approach, who stands at Haras du Mesnil and whose first crop are two-year-olds of this year, makes €36,000 bought by Kevin Ross Bloodstock / Ben Case purchasing from Clonmult Farm.

Telecaster won the 1m2f Dante Stakes (G2), the 1m4f Grand Prix de Deauville (G2) and the 1m2f Prix de la Coupe (G3).

The April-born foal is out of the Turgeon mare Tarco, whose two runners are winners, including Tarina (Doctor Dino), who has won her three career starts to date in France, including a conditions race at Auteuil in October. (10:19)

Lot 665: the Whytemount Stud-consigned colt by the farm's stallion Feel Like Dancing makes €40,000.

He is out of Western Haven (Affinisea), it is a long-developed Whytemount family on both sides of the pedigree – Affinisea, stands at the farm, too , while all the leading runners under second dam Western Whisper – the Grade 1 winner Outlander, the Grade 1 placed Western Leader, the Grade 2 winner Ice Cold Soul, the Listed winner Mart Lane and the graded placed Now McGinty are all by the farm's late flagship sire Stowaway. Lot 673: sells for the six-figure sum of €110,000, the colt by leading sire No Risk At All bought by NBB Racing on behalf of Ecurie Benaroussi Sofiane. Underbidder was Timmy Hyde. The February-born colt is out of Zarkareva (Authorized), winner of the Buck House Chase (G3) and placed third in the Colliers Novice Chase (G1), and from the family of the champion Zarkava.

"It is expensive coming here!" joked Nicolas Bertran de Balanda after buying the colt, adding: "He has been bought for Sofiane Benaroussi, who is building a team in France and the colt is going to race in France. I have followed the dam – I bought her originally in France with Alex Elliott for Brian Acheson, and we should have bought the mare again last year!

"This is a very good first foal, by a top stallion, great pedigree. He is probably going to be a tall horse and we will need to give him a bit of time. Sofiane is buying a lot of very good youngstock and is going to have a nice team in France moving forward. We thought that was the sort of price we would have to pay."

The colt was bred by and sold by Coolmara Stables. The two foals sold by the farm this morning proving to be very popular in the sale ring today, fetching an average price of €75,000.

Cathal Mariga said: "We are very pleased, he made more than expectations, we did know if he would get into six figures. We hoped he would be stand-out and he has done just that.

"For a first foal, he is a lovely foal, and always has been even when he was young, and to make back half of the mare's purchase price is very pleasing. She is now in-foal to Blue Bresil. She is in great order and is due in March." (11:22)

Lot 685: sold by Clonbonny Stud for Quill Farm, this colt by Kapgarde, the only foal by the sire in the catalogue, out of Avealittlepatience, the dam of one winner from two runners, goes to Timmy Hillman for €50,000.

Avealittlepatience is a half-sister to Spirit Of Adjisa, the eight-time winner, whose victories included the Champion Novice Hurdle (G1) at Punchestown, and to Princess Nala, a Listed winner on the Flat. (11:58)

Lot 705: Alex Butler buys a fourth lot this week, this colt just the most expensive costing her €38,000. By Walk In The Park, the colt is out of Calming The Storm (Shirocco), a half-sister to Ahorsewithnoname, a Listed-winning hurdler and runner-up in the Grade 2 Dawn Run Mares' Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Second dam Mesange Royale, won the Prix Alain Di Breil (G1) and is a half-sister to Jim, a Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed.

The colt's 2019 half-brother Additional Time (Milan) was bought John McConnell Racing for £160,000 at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival Sale, winner of a point-to-point for Matthew Flynn O'Connor. He is the only runner so far for the dam. (13:03)

Lot 730: Timmy Hillman buys a seventh lot, the pinhooker going to €30,000 for the Jukebox Jury colt, a second foal out of Erins Benefit, winner of a bumper and placed over hurdles. it is the family of the seven time winner, 17-time placed Theatre Guide, who finished second in the Hennessy Gold Cup (G3) and won a Grade 3 chase at Kempton.

The 19 foals sold so far by Jukebox Jury have achieved an average price of €25,631. (13:14)

Lot 744: colts by Walk In The Park continue catch the eye of the sale ring, and this first foal, sold by Ballincurrig House Stud, out of the four-time winner and Grade 2 runner-up and Grade 1 fourth-placed Global Equity (Shirocco) makes €46,000. She is a half-sister to Search For Glory, a dual Grade 3-winning hurdler.

Foals by Walk In The Park are currently averaging €37,120 with just three left to sell. (13:49)

Lot 759: John Yarr of Meadowlands Stud was all smiles after selling his Blue Bresil colt to Tony O'Callaghan of Tally-Ho Stud for €68,000.

The mare Je T'Adore is dam of a black-type winner over jumps, who was successful at the highest level, a black-type winner on the Flat, and a black-type performer over jumps, all by a range of different types of sires.

A Wave Of The Sea by Born To Sea won the Spring Juvenile Hurdle (G1), was a dual Grade 2 winner over fences and twice placed in the Munster National (G1), the Starspangledbanner filly Duvet Day achieved US Listed success on the Flat, and Dark Voyager by Raven's Pass finished second in a Grade 2 over hurdles.

"I don't think I am very good at selecting stallions," laughed Yarr, "but she has still gone and done it for us, she has been a good mare for us."

Hello Neighbour, her 2021 gelding by Harzand and sold at the 2021 November NH Sale as a foal for €57,000, is a winner of his first two races for trainer Gavin Cromwell. The first success in September came for a certain owner going by the name of Anthony O'Callaghan, the gelding then sold within the Cromwell yard to owner Patrick Sheanon.

According to the gelding's former owner, the buyer of this foal, Hello Neighbour is being aimed at the juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas. (14:33)

Lot 774: the only foal by Saint Des Saints offered here this week sells for €110,000 becoming the sale's joint top-priced lot. He is out of the Martaline mare, dam of the Grade 1-placed chaser Kapkilne, the dam of the leading French runner Olympic Story (Masked Marvel).

The colt was bought by agent Jerry McGrath, who was bidding from the top of the stairs and who saw off the persistent challenges from Paul Harley and Joey Logan.

"He has been bought to race in France," said McGrath. "He is for a client who will probably bring in a few friends now as he cost a bit more than we expected. He is a lovely colt, and Saint Des Saints does not need any explaining and he is a bit obvious really.

"I am spending a lot of time now in France and have seen Olympic Story, she is the best three-year-old filly in France and she has not finished yet as she is a big scopey filly, it is a happening family. Hopefully, he is lucky."

McGrath added: "I think it would be awful shame if he was sold again as a three-year-old gelding in a store sale. He won't be gelded – the dream will be to keep him as an entire, and if he gets to the required level of form be able to retire him to stud in France."

The colt was sold by James Sheehan's Clonmult Farm for breeder Maurice Garde, the team was all smiles back at the barn.

Sheehan said: "Maurice bought the mare last November, she produced this lovely foal, he has really developed. I saw him in the middle of August and loved him then and he has really developed since he came to me. He has a real pedigree, probably one of the best French pedigrees in the book.

"This foal was always going to be for sale, and he was always going to be coming here. It is a brilliant place here, and this is my favourite sale of the year, I love this sale, it always delivers when you have the right horse!" (15:18)

Lot 821: Will Kinsey of Peel Bloodstock buys this Walk In The Park half-sister to the Grade 1 hurdler Hearts Are Trumps. The filly is out of Polly's Present, an own-sister to the Gold Cup winner Denman (Presenting), and has been purchased as a potential breeding prospect for €72,000.

"She is for myself and my brother-in-law Richard Burton, former UK champion point-to-point jockey," said Kinsey. "He has a few mares with me already and is getting involved in a few more. Options are open, but at the moment the plan is to race her and then hopefully breed from her.

"I know it is a long time from a foal to a broodmare, but the chances to buy this sort of pedigree are rare." (16:33)

Lot 823: the Blue Bresil son of Princess Leya (Old Vic), the Grade 2-winning half-sister to the 21-time winner and dual Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Altior, makes €80,000. He was bought by Aiden Murphy who said that the colt will be reconsigned back as a three-year-old store through Glenvale.

The colt was sold today by Mark Dreeling and Barbara Fonzo's Coole House Farm for breeder John Fallon. (16:39)

Lot 847: "She is also for a partnership with brother-in-law Richard, but we have also got a few new partners into the industry, all fellow former amateur riders, it is a bit of a n ex-amateur riders syndicate," outlined Will Kinsey who, signing as Peel Bloodstock, paid €125,000 for Instit, the former Willie Mullins-trained mare who won at Listed level and was placed seven times in black-type chases.

Kinsey added: "Again she is a rare sort, a Saint des Saints broodmare – I have not got one and have been trying to buy one for a long time. She is going back to my brother-in-law's from here and we have some plans to make for her next covering, there are lots of good options in the UK now." (17:19)

Lot 907A: the wildcard entry, the son of the A'Ali, whose first crop are yearlings of this year and who won the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes and the Flying Childers Stakes (G2), is bought by Gavin Cromwell for €20,000.

Sold by Nenthorne Farm, the January-born colt is out of a daughter of Blue Angel, who was placed nine times, including in the Listed October Stakes and the Sceptre Stakes (L).

Thir dam Blue Cloud won the Prix Imprudence (L) and was placed third in the Prix Boussac (G1). She was dam of 11 winners, including Empowering, who won the Leopardstown 1000 Guineas Trial (G3). (12:16)

Lot 900: JD Moore sees off a persistent online buyer in order to buy this Gleneagles colt at €32,000, sold by Kilmacoliver Stud.

The colt is a half-brother to Jet Away, a Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed in Australia, and to the dam of Onesto, winner of the Grand Prix de Paris (G1).

The second dam Kerali is dam of Hasili, Juddmonte's amazing mare and dam of the talented Group race winners Banks Hill, Cacique, Champs Elysees, Intercontinental, Heat Haze and Dansili.

"It is a Book 1 page," said Moore. "I thought we would have to get to that sort of figure. Gleneagles has had a good year, for a June foal he has plenty of size and he goes to Donnacha O'Brien, who has purchased him on spec and is delighted to get a horse with a pedigree of this quality." (11:48)

Lot 919: the Clonbonny Stud-consigned filly by Lope Y Fernandez out of the Cape Cross mare Perfect Number is bought by Katie Walsh's Greenhills Farm.

"She has been bought to breeze, she is a sweet filly and has been well-produced," said Walsh.

Consignor Denise O'Brien purchased the mare Perfect Number last year carrying to the National Stud sire, a first-crop daughter of the Classic-placed son of Lope De Vega.

"She is a lovely, good -walking mare and this has always been a smart filly and a godo first foal," said O'Brien.

Perfect Number was a winner at three for Godolphin and comes from the top class family of the champion older mare Solemia, the Group 2 winner Prospect Wells, the Group 1-placed Prospect Park, the Group 1 winner Silasol and the champion European three-year-old and Derby winner Authorized. (12:33)

Lot 916A: Kevin Ross Bloodstock buys the Ardad wildcard entry going to €13,000 for the filly from Cooneen Stud.

The filly's dam Paradwys (Exceed And Excel) was a winner at three, is dam of two winners from three runners, and is a half-sister to Many Colours, dam of 1,000 Guineas winner Mother Earth, who was also Group 1 placed in the Sun Chariot Stakes, the Falmouth Stakes, the Poule d'Essaie des Pouliches , the Breeders; Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, the Coronation Stakes and the Fillies Mile.

It is the extended family of Lady Alexander, Anthem Alexander and Dandy Man. (12:53)

Lot 948: Katie Walsh spends again, this time going to €18,000 for this son of Bungle Inthejungle who is out of the Listed-winning mare Clifton Dancer (Fraam).

"He is to breeze and will hopefully come back here," she said. "Bungle Inthejungle is a decent sire, this is a good fast pedigree, he is out of a black-type dam and he is a half to two multiple winners, including Aleezdancer, who is BHA rated 91."

The colt was sold by Rathasker Stud. (13:24)

Lot 955: the first-ever foal to go through the sale ring by the three-time Group 1-placed and Jersey Stakes (G3) winner Space Traveller (Bated Breath) makes €43,000, bought by Michael Orlandi on behalf of owner Steve Parkin.

Orlandi standing the stallion at his Starfield Stud and he said: "Steve is keen to support the stallion, as he has always done with his stallions.

"The foal will go to Rathbride Stud and then possibly on to Branton Court Stud. Steve is hoping to buy a number by the sire this winter and I came here looking for the best of them, and this is it. He is out of a Frankel mare from a fast pedigree and comes from Castledillon Stud, Timmy Hillman's good nursery, and the mare is back in-foal to the stallion."

Of Space Traveller, Orlandi updated: "The reports are very positive about the foals, we looking forward to buying some more. He will probably be kept to race, at the end of the day, Steve is an end user. He is definitely going to have a number of the Space babies in training."

He added: "He is a lovely stallion, he is a really kind horse, has a huge personality, the Galileo is coming through, a super stallion to cover. We are hoping numbers will pick up this year on the back of his foals selling well, and he is in great form – he has a great chance as a Group 1 performer, out of a Galileo mare and Steve will be with him the whole way through."

The colt is a first foal out of Frankelstein (Frankel) who is a daughter of the Curragh Stakes (G3) runner-up Mur Hiba. She is a half-sister to the Listed winner Riskit Fora Biskit, dam of Listed placed Silver Surfer.

Congratulations go to Orlandi – he and wife Sile welcomed their first daughter into the world three weeks ago, Isabella Bridget. We wish the family well. (14:00)

Lot 976: the first foal through the sale ring by Persian Force is bought by Nigel O'Hare as a potential racing prospect for €50,000. Ryan McElliott was underbidder, Amo Racing owner of the sire who stands at Tally-Ho Stud.

"He will go to County Amargh and will he run alongside another colt," said O'Hare. "He has a lovely walk, he is strong boned, he has come well recommended and has a bit of size about him. We generally like to race all our horses, and it is difficult to buy them as yearlings. We have horses with Natalia Lupini, Gavin Cromwell and Ado McGuinness.

O'Hare also purchased a filly by Time Test earlier today [Lot 913A].

This colt is out of a two-time winner Ray Of Light (Canford Cliffs), a half-sister to the Listed winner and Group 1 Irish Oaks third placed Cairde Go Deo. (14:19)

Good morning and welcome to Tattersalls Ireland 2025!

We are very much looking forward to a busy Tattersalls Ireland year with today's Winter Flat Sale kicking off the season, followed in May by the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale and, on May 29, our new Point-to-Point and Horses in Training Sale.

We move into the summer store horse sales season in June and July with the industry-leading two-part Derby Sale on June 25-27, nominations will be closing soon and inspections are already underway. The July Store Sale is scheduled for July 23-24.

The Flat-bred yearlings take precedence in September with Part I and Part II of the September Yearling Sale, before we conclude the year with the November NH Sale.

Lot 15: the 2024-born filly by It's Gino and out of Belle Sauvage (Anabaa Blue) is a first Tattersalls Ireland 2025 purchase for Richard Frisby, the pinhooker going to €20,000 for the bay filly sold by Carrigeen Bloodstock.

She is a half-sister to the winning, Listed-placed five-year-old French hurdler Kundaline (Castle Du Berlais), trained by Noel George and Amanda Zetterholm. (11:21)

Lot 23: the Whytemount Stud-based sire Affinisea has enjoyed a good week – his gelding Sixmilebridge successful in the Grade 2 2m4f hurdle at Cheltenham at the weekend – and Lakefield Farm, leading consignor at the 2024 Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, steps in at €13,000 to buy this yearling by the son of Sea The Stars from Smithstown Stud.

The May-born colt is out of the Stowaway mare Bubbles In May, a half-sister to the Grade 3-placed Mahon's Way, and from the family of the Weatherby's Champion Bumper (G1) and Supreme Novices Hurdle (G1) winner and multiple graded race winner and performer Champagne Fever. (11:38)

Lot 29: this yearling daughter of the Group 1 St Leger winner Logician (Frankel), whose oldest crop are two-year-olds of this year, makes €12,000 and is bought by M L Racing Bloodstock.

The filly, offered by Ballincurrig House Stud, is out of the Merlino Magic mare Cascaye, a winner over hurdles and a half-sister to Grey Knight, Listed-placed over hurdles in France. (12:08)

Lot 42: pinhooker Richard Rohan spends €26,000 on the Jukebox Jury yearling filly out of the Listed winner and Grade 2 and Grade 3-placed Duhallow Gesture (King'sTheatre) from Galbertstown Stables.

The mare is a half-sister to the Listed winning chase mare Me and Ben, and it is the talented extended family of the Champion Bumper (G1) winner and Aintree Hurdle (G1) winner Rhinestone Cowboy and the Challow Hurdle (G1) winner Wichita Lineman. (12:30)

Lot 58: the Walk In The Park colt out of Glasgow Allen, the American Post half-sister to the 16-time winner Envoi Allen, who can boast of nine Grade 1 successes, is bought by Coolmore's Gerry Aherne for €50,000.

The three-time Cheltenham Festival winner, a graduate of the Tattersalls Cheltenham February Sale 2018, is not the only talented performer on the page – the pedigree also boasts the Grade 3 novice hurdle placed Fighter Allen, the Grade 2-winning chaser and multiple graded race performer Eldorado Allen, the Grade 2-winning chaser Auvergnat and the Grade 3 chase winner Une Epogue.

The yearling colt was sold by The Beeches Stud, and after purchasing Aherne said: "The sire continues to break records and this is a very well bred horse who comes from a great nursery. He was the one we really wanted today and we are delighted to get him.

"Plans for him are fluid, we could bring him back for resale or keep him to race, there's plenty of time for him. He was a standout on looks and pedigree today." (13:00)

Lot 70: "I bought her for my client Will Smith, who is based in England. Her future is undecided as yet, she might be kept to race or could be returned to be resold," said Richard Rohan after spending €38,000 on this daughter of Affinisea, offered by Ballincurrig House Stud, and he enthused: "We absolutely loved the filly since she arrived."

Rohan also added: "Will has been building up a nice stock of young horses. He is a good client and a good man and so I hope he is lucky. He gives me carte blanche to buy what I Iike. Not only did I like this filly as an individual, but everything is hot in this pedigree what with Gowel Road and being by Affinisea, too – I really like him as a sire, and he had a Grade 2 winner at the weekend. He is just coming good, so, hopefully, it is onwards and upwards now."

There is plenty of active black-type on the filly's page – she is an own-sister to the five-year-old Hollygrove Cha Cha, who was Listed placed over hurdles in December for trainer Jamie Snowdon, while her Indian Danehill dam is a half-sister to Captain Cutter, winner of the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle, and to Gowel Road, who has the most recent of black-type additions being a winner of last weekend's Cleeve Hurdle (G2).

Under the third dam are the well-known names of the two Grade 1 winners Mister Morose and Albertas Run. (13:32)

Lot 89: by the champion jumps sire Walk In The Park, currently once again top of this season sires' table, and out of the Flemensfirth mare Lady On Track, this is another well-bred filly to catch the buyers' eyes fetching €26,000.

Lady On Track is an own-sister to the Grade 2 Tipperkevin Hurdle (G1) winner One Track Mind and to the Listed placed hurdler Ainchea. It is also the family of One Term who was a Listed bumper winner and the outstanding Queen Mother Champion Chase (G1) winner One Man. He was a 20-time winner with 17 wins over fences, including four times at Grade 1 level. (14:02)

Lot 100: the Order Of St George colt out of Ma Minx (Shantou), offered by Clonmult Farm, is another Lakefield Farm purchase, the Bleahen family going to €22,000 for the May-born colt, a half-brother to A Different KInd, third in the Classic Novice Hurdle (G3) at Cheltenham.

Second dam is the Cadoudal mare Madalka, and she was a Listed winner of the Prix Maurice Gillois 4yo Grand Steeplechase, the Listed Prix Orcada, the Listed Prix Sagan Hurdle and the Listed Prix d'Iena Hurdle. She is grand-dam of Black Thunder, who won eight races, including five chases one of which was the December Novices Chase (G2). (14:42)
